- Puff pastry sheets - 2
- Shredded Paneer
- Onions - 1
- Tomatoes - 2
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Shahi Paneer Masala - 1/4 tbsp
- Paprika - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric - A pinch
- Cilantro - A bunch
Paneer stuffing:
- Add oil to a pan and add the diced onions, saute until they are golden brown in color
- Add the salt and turmeric
- Add tomatoes to the pan and continue cooking until the oil separates
- Add shredded paneer, shahi paneer masala, paprika
- Add chopped cilantro when done
Assembling the Paneer Pinwheels:
- Thaw the pastry sheet for 30 minutes at room temperature
- Apply olive oil gently with a brush
- Spread the paneer stuffing evenly on the pastry sheet
- Roll the pastry sheet length wise (Like a burrito or a frankie)
- Apply gently seal the edges with water
- Slice the roll with a serrated knife
- Preheat the oven at 400F
- Place the sliced pinwheels for 20 minutes in the oven
- Serve the pinwheels with sweet and sour tamarind chutney or ketchup :)
